Are You A Reformer Lover?

Are you missing the reformer ? The good news is it’s not long until you can hop right back on! After finishing classes this evening, I found time for a 10minute flow, and I just love creating new flows! Here are my top 5 reasons why you should include the reformer in your weekly workouts….

⭐️ FULL BODY WORKOUT , you’ll perform specific, individualised movements which give you a balanced workout, using both large muscles and small stabilising ones. It really is like nothing else. You can’t replicate it on any other piece of equipment. The range of exercises is endless too so you’ll never get bored.

⭐️ TONE AND STRENGTHEN , this dynamic form of exercise, uses the machine’s springs and levers to create resistance and allow for equal focus on the concentric and eccentric contractions to create long, lean, toned muscles.

⭐️ REDUCED RISK OF INJURY, ACHES & PAINS, Injuries often come from poor movement, lifestyle habits and muscle imbalances. Reformer Pilates classes will help you address any underlying movement imbalances to help you move better and improve your resilience to injury.

⭐️ IMPROVE POSTURE, help bring balance to your muscles to help you stand taller and straighter. Moving in a more neutral position your body will be under less strain and less likely to develop aches and niggles.

⭐️ CONNECT YOUR BODY & MIND , The combination of slow-paced movement, muscle isolation and right resistance allows you to feel your way through the exercises – instead of rushing to finish it. That’s not something you get from a HIIT class, it’s all about the mind/ body connection, helping to achieve a sense of well-being! It’s just great fun!!!

🧘🏽‍♂️ The feeling you get after Pilates is unlike that you get from other workouts – think uplifting, long, lean, lengthened and strong ❤️
