This is one of my all time favorite and health protein shakes, it can be made vegan, dairy free and therefore works with most food plans.
It is packed full of collagen, protein , and antioxidants. The cherries have a great flavour but are also full of melatonin, phenols, quercetin and a flavonoid called anthocyanin. It is anthocyanin that gives cherries there gorgeous deep red colour and healthy heart properties. Simple just blend all the ingredients below for a delicious chilled black forest shake.
200ml of milk of your choice i like almond or coconut milk
1 scoop of pasture fed collagen powder
1 scoop of vegan protein powder
1 heaped spoon of raw cocoa
6 dark cherries
3 ice cubes
sweeten with honey if needed
