Unwind – Reset – Align

Our fabulous Somerset wellbeing weekend retreat is held in a majestic, former Georgian rectory, combining luxury and wellness in a secluded venue, allowing you to escape relax and restore. 

The Somerset wellbeing retreat has been carefully designed to provide you with the perfect mix of luxury, pilates, mindful movement, nourishing foods and of course a little wine! We believe this is the perfect balance for good health, wellness and relaxation. By the end of the weekend retreat, you’ll feel rested, restored, reset and ready to float back into your life full of energy and positivity.

The retreat is held over three days and includes your breakfast, lunch and snacks. Pilates classes will be held in the morning and evening before dinner. There is also the option to join in nutrition talks and mindful meditation throughout the weekend. In addition to this there will be a visit to the Newt included in your retreat package.

The Estate

Our retreat is held in a beautiful estate, surrounded by 17 acres of private parkland, nestled in the beautiful countryside of Somerset.

You will be allocated your own private room for the duration of your stay, giving you the option to unwind with the group or privately should you wish.

In addition to daily pilates classes you will be able to make use of the wide range of facilities on site from tennis through to snooker. The hot tub, heated outdoor pool and sauna offer the option for water therapy and for those who prefer something more relaxing there is a well stocked library, and a cinema room!

Located 15 minutes from Castle Cary train station which receives direct trains from London/ Reading and Bath. If travelling by car it is conveniently accessed not far from the A303.

Pilates and Stretch Sessions

You will be immersed into a weekend of Pilates, stretch and feel good movement classes. You have the option to join as many classes as you wish. The classes will run in the morning and in the evening. All equipment will be provided for you, with the option to book additional private sessions.

Nourishing Food

Your breakfast, lunch and snacks will be carefully designed by our in-house nutritional therapist. The meals will provide you with the perfect balance of healthy fresh, seasonal nourishing foods to ensure you feel balanced throughout your stay.

You will have opportunity for nutritional discussions and advice throughout your stay.

There is an option to eat out at a local independent restaurant in the evening either as a group or individually (this is organised in addition to the package and not included within the price) If you would prefer to bring your own food and use the kitchen to cook you are very welcome to make use of the house.

You can bring your own food and wine should you wish!

Weekend Itinerary

Friday 29th September- Sunday 1st October

(Subject to minor changes)

Friday

Arrival 2pm, welcome drinks and tour followed by time to unpack and settle in, afternoon mindful movement and pilates classes. We will then all join together for an evening meal at a local restaurant, you might even fancy a quick dip in the star lit hot tub before bed.

Saturday

Pre- breakfast mindful garden walk and stretch, then breakfast, mid morning pilates, lunch followed by a visit to the Newt and an evening meal out, we will return back for pyjama pilates and some quiet time in the library or one of the reception rooms. You have the choice to join the group for an evening meal or bring your own food and use the kitchen. The house is a home from home so you can feel at ease during your stay.

Sunday

Pre breakfast power pilates, breakfast, time to relax and enjoy the facilities or join the core blaster & facia release class , lunch , a stretchy Pilates class and mindfulness session before departure by 3pm.

There are plenty of opportunities to opt in or out should you wish, this is your break to focus on your health and wellness. The house is yours to enjoy and feel as if you were at home! We will provide you with everything you need to feel relaxed, comfortable and at ease.

Additional Treats

Included in your package is a visit to the Newt, here you can explore the beautiful estate and gardens. The visit is included, but you are under no obligation to join should you prefer some personal time to unwind.

Horse riding trips can be organised if you would like to explore the local village on horseback.

Private Pilates sessions can be booked.

Private massages can be arranged for you during your stay.
